Empire Night is Tatiana Calderon and John Ryan- A Duo featuring both guitar and keyboards. We cover a very wide range of music you know, but may not hear covered from other performers- current pop folk and country, favorite 90's songs, and fun campy 60's and 70's songs everyone will enjoy. Tatiana and John have been playing music together for over 7 years, and as a duo for 4 years. Tatiana's amazing vocal range is complemented by John's polished piano talent, guitar, vocals, and tasteful rhythm tracks. Tatiana and John play regularly at area wineries, upscale restaurants, and private events.
Elly Rowan is a vocalist and guitarist who is a long-time student of Andy and Kathryn Karg at 2gether Productions. As a high school student, she enjoys gigging in the east metro area. Elly loves to play a wide variety of music, and some of her favorite artists include The Beatles, Cindy Lauper, and Coldplay. Known for her remarkable ability to take over the stage and capture her audience, Barbara Meyer engulfs the listener in spirals of deep and soulful lyrics. Her own songs weave undertones of her playful humor as well as her intrinsic spirituality, giving her music a timeless relevance. Her extensive background in theatre, coupled with a Master’s degree in opera from the University of Iowa, has honed her vocals into the ultimate tool of expression and communication. She performs regularly throughout the Twin Cities, and is praised for both her live performances and her studio work. Her genre-jumping ability is huge, encompassing jazz, roots rock & reggae, Broadway, gospel, folk, and cabaret, creating a distinctive and electrifying performance every time. And if you’re extra lucky, you’ll catch her hula-hooping shtick

Alan Husby grew up in Minneapolis, started playing the guitar at age 10, and has been playing and singing with local jazz, folk, and gospel groups around the Twin Cities for 20+ years. He recently retired from teaching and is now enjoying the additional time to play and sing and write. He continues to perform with the Nokomis Trio, the Barbara Meyer Trio, Joyful Jamming, "It's Not Too Late" (a Carole King / James Taylor tribute band), and various other joyful combinations of musician friends.
